Sail Exchange has been making sailing more affordable and giving new life to used and new ex-stock sails, as well as used spars, rigging and parts for a decade.
Increasingly, Sail Exchange customers are buying our expertly designed new sails. Using the latest in Data Driven Sail Design and Construction (DDSDC) technology including Fluid-Structure Interaction (FSI) enables us to design and manufacture sails that are guaranteed to fit the boat, be fit for purpose, and have fast shapes.
With the launch of our new SailX brand, we provide a range of high-end racing and cruising membrane headsails and mainsails utilising high-modulus yarns such as Carbon, Technora and Twaron encapsulated between outer layers of a non-woven textile (NWT) or polyester taffeta that produce the ultimate in shape holding for both racing and cruising.

Sail Exchange is committed to sustainability and is actively working on resale, reuse, and end-of-life recycling for both Dacron and laminate sails. The aim is to prevent old sails from ending up in landfill. By promoting the resale and reuse of sails, Sail Exchange is making sailing more affordable and reducing waste in the industry.
